This Dryer is new from Aquarium Specialty and includes white desiccant that does not change color but never needs replacing. A small blue desiccant indicator cartridge tells you when is time to recharge the white dryer desiccant.
The DI Dryer includes:

White Desiccant Media
Blue Desiccant indicator cartridge and blue desiccant.
Please note the blue indicator media can be recharged 3-4 times before it is exhausted. We recommend ordering 1 unit of additional blue desiccant with the DI Dryer Pro. It should last several years if sealed up in an airtight plastic bag.
